If you want your app to stand out among the thousands on the App Store, make sure it’s ready for Christmas! Here are some quick tips to help you prepare your app for a successful holiday season.
Update app store screenshots
If you haven’t edited your app’s store presence within the past 3-4 months, you definitely should update the app screenshots. This is true for any time of the year but especially during Christmas, as it will be an excellent opportunity to get more installs from people searching on Google and Apple’s apps search page.
- Make sure to use Christmas keywords in your screenshots (e.g., Santa, snowman, snowflake, etc.).
- Resize your images so they are high quality and at least 1080 x 1920 pixels in size to ensure they are displayed well on iPhone 6 or higher devices.
- Look at what competitors are doing with their app store pages and see how they are using these keywords effectively in their screenshots (you can do this by searching for keywords related to your app).
