What are Custom Product Pages in the App Stores?
Custom Product Pages, a recent addition to Apple App Store Connect, and Custom Store Listings, available in Google Play Console, allow for more tailored app presentations. Apple has pioneered this feature, offering Custom Product Pages for some time. Google followed suit, introducing Custom Store Listings in mid-June 2023.
Previously, app stores offered a standard format for app listings, including icons, titles, descriptions, keywords, images, and videos. While these could be localized for different languages, they were essentially the same for all users.
Each platform can create other pages with customized content, descriptions, and images besides the main page.
Both additions are located below the respective app and can be configured there. Essentially, their functions do not differ from regular store displays.
